Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) Deputy Director Ng Wai Han said yesterday that the Macao One Account 2.0 is now providing the new services of “scheduling of venues and facilities” and “registration for activities”, aiming to integrate different types of venue and facility bookings and activity registrations currently still provided by various government entities’ official websites or their respective mobile applications.

Ng said the aim of the new services, which started yesterday, was to make them more convenient for residents’ daily life.

Ng made the remarks during yesterday’s press conference on the introduction to the two new services provided by the Macao One Account, at the Patane Market Municipal Complex.

The press conference, which lasted just over 30 minutes, was also addressed by Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) Deputy Director Wong Ka Ki and Macau Foundation (FM) General Affairs Department Chief Chan Chung Yan, as well as the Municipal Affairs Bureau’s (IAM) Integrated Services and Quality Supervision Department Chief Ho Cheng Wa and Administration Committee on Municipal Affairs member Lam Sio Un.

Ng noted that as of the end of last month, over 400,000 residents had registered for the Macao One Account.

In the first phase, Ng said, the appointment service has been launched for 19 venues and facilities run by the Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, adding that the Macao One Account’s users can book facilities and venues run by the two bureaus. Information such as the venue or facility’s name, picture, size, capacity and rental fee will be displayed on the Macao One Account, in order to make it more convenient for the public to make an appointment and pay the fee online at once via their mobile applications.

Ng also said that as renting the Municipal Affairs Bureau’s venues and facilities is only possible for “Friends of IAM” members, an application service for the respective membership cards has been added to the Macao One Account.

Enrolment services, on the other hand, will also be integrated with different entities’ activity registration systems, Ng noted, pointing out that between this month and October over 120 kinds of recreational and sports activities, such as interest classes, workshops and seminars, with more than 2,500 vacancies, on offer by the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Education and Youth Development Bureau, Macau Foundation and the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, will be available in the Macao One Account. Ng added that members of the public can search by activity type, service group and government entities, sign up for the activities they are interested in, make the necessary payments, and check the records.

According to Ng, Macao One Account users do not need to fill in their personal information when making appointments for venues and facilities or signing up for activities as their identity was confirmed by Macao One Account when they signed up for it. The users can view their reservation or registration on the application record page in their account. At the same time, the successful applications will be automatically added to “My Memo”, so that applicants can check their calendar by clicking on “My Memo”. Messages will also be sent in advance to remind people of their upcoming schedule.

In the next stage, Ng said, the services will be extended to the Sports Bureau (ID) and the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC).

Meanwhile, Ho also said at the press conference that from now on residents can apply for “Friends of IAM” membership by “simply” filling in their personal information and choosing a profile photo they might have added to “My Photo” in their Macao One Account. Ho added that members can show their digital card from “My Card Package” in the account when participating in IAM activities or using IAM venues and facilities.

Moreover, Chan said yesterday that the Macau Foundation will integrate the applications for “Macau Young Artists Promotion Project” complementary activities with the registration service in the Macao One Account, adding that the activities, such as parent-child workshops, creative experiences and seminars, will be hosted by artists participating in the project.

Chan noted that children aged between eight and 12 will be able to sign up for the complementary activity of the “Bazaar – Exhibition of artworks by Lio Hak Man” project, with free admission.
