In Macau, the fiscal and calendar years are identical.
The plenary session will start at 3 p.m. It will be followed by a press conference at Government Headquarters slated to begin at 5 p.m.
On November 16, commencing at 3 p.m., Ho will attend a Q&A session in the legislature to answer lawmakers’ questions about his policy address.
The public can watch and hear the Policy Address and press conference – and the following day’s Q&A session via live broadcasts on the Chinese- and Portuguese-language television channels and radio service of public broadcaster TDM.
Members of the public also have the option of watching the proceedings online via: the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government Portal; the website of the Chief Executive’s Office; the website of the Legislative Assembly; the website of the Government Information Bureau (GCS); via the official channels on YouTube of the Chief Executive’s Office and GCS; and via the GCS Facebook page.
Users of portable devices may watch the live sessions via “GCE Macao”, a mobile application issued by the Chief Executive’s Office, or through “MSAR News”, the mobile app of GCS.
The government’s five policy secretaries, assisted by senior officials from their respective portfolios, will separately present their 2023 policy guidelines to legislators on the following dates:
Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong Weng Chon: Nov 21;
Secretary for Economy and Finance Lei Wai Nong: Nov 23;
Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak: Nov 25;
Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Elsie Ao Ieong U: Nov 28;
Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosário: Nov 30.
