Financial support for activities aimed at “stimulating the community economy in the field of tourism”, “promoting culinary culture” and “maritime tourism” next year, within the scope of the government’s Specific Financial Support Programme, are open for application from today to December 21, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement yesterday, adding that interested non-profit organisations are required to submit the applications through their Macao One Account.
The application period for the three special funding schemes for 2023 runs from 9 a.m. today to 4:45 p.m. on December 21, according to the statement.
The statement said that the approval results were expected to be announced next March, underlining that the subsidised activities or projects must take place between April 1 and December 31 next year.
The statement pointed out that the Tourism Fund will carefully evaluate and analyse all potential applications through the targeted evaluation criteria of each special funding scheme and select those “worthy of subsidy”.
