The Portuguese Orient Institute (IPO) will launch a trilingual medical lexicon– Portuguese, Chinese, English – on Thursday, the Portuguese-language radio channel of government-owned broadcaster TDM reported yesterday.
According to the report, the lexicon consists of 5,700 medical terms, with Portuguese as the source language, comprising a range of medical fields such as paediatrics, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, and psychiatry.
The Association of Portuguese-speaking Doctors and Macau Cardiology Association took part in the compilation of the terms.
