The applications are being accepted from now through February 15, according to a press conference that was held yesterday at the bureau’s headquarters, which noted that the internships will take place in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province, from March 26 to June 23. Upon completion, an internship certificate will be issued by the co-organisers.
The press conference underlined that potential applicants must have the professional qualifications and skills required for the trainee positions.
DSAL Employment Department Chief Lei Lai Keng said in a speech during the press conference the aim of the programme was to bring local youngsters to the Group’s affiliated enterprises where they could learn about the new business forms of the mainland’s digital high-tech industry, cultivating their relevant business capabilities through practical scenarios and under the guidance of their seniors, so as to expand local young people’s employment and development space. She added that the advancement of mobile communication technology has driven the transformation and upgrading of all walks of life in recent years.
According to the press conference, during the three-month internships, participants will receive a monthly stipend of 5,000 patacas and a one-off allowance of 3,000 patacas for the round-trip and travel insurance from the bureau, as well as a monthly stipend of 3,500 yuan from the Group, while the remaining expenses are to be borne by the trainees themselves.
