Registration for the 2023 Sands China Macao International 10K, which is slated for March 19, will start this weekend, according to a statement by the Sports Bureau (ID) yesterday.
The statement noted that registration for the 10K race will start from 9 a.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday for the Fun Run. There are 7,000 places available for the 10K race, while there are 3,000 for the Fun Run, with the statement adding that registration will be closed when all places are filled.
According to the statement, would-be participants can, in line with the government’s e-governance development, register through www.macao10k.com or via the “Macao 10K” mobile app.
Applicants must have a personal online registration account with either the Macao International 10K or the Macao International Marathon. Those who do not have an account can create a new one, the statement added.
Upon successfully creating one, applicants can log onto the system for online registration during the registration period.
Passwords can also be reset for those who have an account but have forgotten their username and password. The statement noted that accepted methods for registration fee payments are Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay cards, MPay, BOC Macau App, UnionPay Online Pay, WeChat Pay China, and Alipay China.
The statement urged participants to read race regulations carefully, understand the race route and prepare for the event according to their physical condition.
