The Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) said in a statement yesterday that rental applications for 60 shop units at the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) can be submitted from today allowing Macau’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to seize opportunities in the Guangdong Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengin.
The MNN is the first livelihood development in the zone built for Macau residents, according to the statement. It integrates a “quality” living space, schools, and health stations, among others. Its project completion is expected to be in the second half of this year, the statement said.
The statement noted that the 5,000-square-metre commercial space at the MNN in Hengqin is located in the central area of the project, which is at the junction of Tianyu Road and Xiangshun Road.
Grocery, F&B and homeware retailers, the statement said, are among the businesses that the shop units are available for.
The statement added that Macau’s SMEs and Distinctive Shops are invited to set up their businesses in the MNN as part of efforts to help local enterprises tap into the Greater Bay Area (GBA) market and to promote business development between Hengqin and Macau.

The office hours are from Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturdays, the office hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
