Understanding citizens’ concern about his health, Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On told reporters yesterday before the opening ceremony of the 21st Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) that he was recovering well after consulting a doctor.
Chui said he wore thin clothes last Monday, when Premier Li Keqiang arrived for an inspection tour, pointing out that the wind was blowing hard.
“[The wind was so strong that it] caused me to catch a cold. And I had a backache,” Chui said how he felt during Li’s speech at the local airport upon the latter’s arrival.
