Melco Resorts & Entertainment held an opening ceremony yesterday for Mr Doodle’s “Love Wall”, an installation at the “Mr Doodle First Exhibition in Macao”, at the City of Dreams (COD) resort in Cotai that enables members of the public to write romantic messages to their loved ones, as well as get a chance to receive gifts, until Sunday.

The Doodle Love Wall, which communicates Mr Doodle’s heartfelt wishes for romantic connections, is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the period and coincides with Chinese Valentine’s Day or Qixi Festival, which fell on Tuesday this year.

Both the event and exhibition, which is co-organised with Artelli in support of “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2023”, were attended by guests from the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ), Concórdia School for Special Education, and Lar de Jovens de Mong-Há (Mong-Há Children & Youth Home), all of which are Melco’s community partners. There was also a group of 40 children at yesterday’s opening ceremony.

Melco Resorts & Entertainment CEO and Chairman Lawrence Ho Yau-lung said during the event that the company was “honoured to continue supporting the government-hosted Art Macao as the biennial, city-wide event that plays a crucial role in elevating the city’s status as a renowned global leisure and entertainment destination”.

Mr Doodle is slated to showcase creations at COD in person on September 12.
