SJM Resorts said in a statement on Friday that it will be hosting its “Chef’s Table: A Symphony of Senses” for three consecutive nights from October 6-8 at the Palace Garden of Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) in Cotai.
The statement noted that the event is a collaboration between Palace Garden Head Chef Ken Chong and Chef Howard, the founder of Howard’s Gourmet and the Howard Cai Select whisky brand.
Chef Chong, a disciple in the lineage of Tai Shi cuisine, who upholds the spirit of “striving for perfection” in his cooking, has nearly 20 years of experience, according to the statement. Meanwhile, Chef Howard is a “renowned epicurean”, and his restaurants called Howard’s Gourmet in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Hangzhou have received multiple accolades from the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.
The statement said that the three-night event features eight dishes, including Crystal King Tiger Prawn topped with Kristal Caviar and Howard’s Gourmet signature dish Sea Cucumber. It is priced at 2,988 patacas per person, and 4,288 patacas per person with wine pairing.
Meanwhile, the “Grand Lisboa Palace – Chefs’ Table Gastronomic Package”, which starts from 7,388 patacas, features a two-night stay at GLP’s Junior Suite from October 7-9 and a dinner for two at “Chef’s Table: Symphony of Senses” on October 8, among others, according to the statement.
