The Sports Bureau (ID) announced in a statement yesterday that the indoor swimming pool of the government-run Lin Fong Sports Centre, which was used to only host Sports for All classes, will be fully open to the public starting Sunday, in response to residents’ need for sports facilities and spaces.

According to the statement, the opening hours of Lin Fong swimming pool will be divided into three sessions daily from Monday to Sunday for individual swimmers – 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The fee is 5 patacas per person for members of the public under the age of 18 or with a senior citizen card, and 15 patacas per person for members of the public aged 18 or above, which is the same as the fee for other indoor swimming pools run by the Sports Bureau, the statement said.

During the initial opening period from Sunday through Wednesday, the Lin Fong Swimming Pool will be open to the public free of charge, and members of the public can obtain free tickets for the next two days from today on, through the Macao One Account mobile app, the bureau’s mobile app or its official website, as well as walk in for free on-site tickets, the statement said.

Information on the number of swimming pool tickets remaining for each session can be viewed online for residents to make appointments, which can also be seen on the respective display screens at the bureau’s swimming pools.

For more details about the swimming pool ticketing, members of the public can check the bureau’s official website at https://www.sport.gov.mo/zh/vbs/searchvenue/type/show/id/4 or call the bureau on 2823 6363 during office hours.
