The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that it will refund tickets for the previously cancelled two performances of the Opera in Two Acts The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, which were originally slated to take place on Sunday.
The shows, which were part of the 35th Macao International Music Festival (MIMF), were cancelled due to the hoisting of Typhoon Signal No.8 on that day, according to the statement. Those who were affected can request refunds by presenting their intact tickets at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets from today to October 31.
The statement noted that for enquiries, one can call 2855 5555 during office hours. More information can be found by checking the festival booklet (www.icm.gov.mo/fimm), or by following the “Macao International Music Festival” Facebook page or subscribing to the IC_Art_Macao WeChat account.
One can also contact the ticketing hotline on 2855 5555 or visiting www.macauticket.com.
