Visitors to the prison and juvenile detention centre in Coloane will no longer be required to display a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) result from Monday, the Correctional Services Bureau (DSC) announced in a statement yesterday.

However, the statement said, they will still be required to wear a facemask during their visits from Monday.

Since early this year, various venues and facilities in the city have gradually cancelled their respective requirements for visitors to display COVID-19 RAT results, including care homes.
