A total of 62 creative handicraft workshops are slated to be held at the Tap Siac Craft Market in Praça do Tap Seac from November 16 to 19 and November 23 to 26, with registration open until 5 p.m. next Tuesday, according to a statement from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) on Tuesday.
“Tap Siac” is the bureau’s alternative spelling for Tap Seac.
The workshops will include 14 sessions for families, while there will be projects in ceramics, bonsai and painting, among others, the statement noted. A fee of 50 patacas is charged per workshop, and registration can be done via www.craftmarket.gov.mo
The statement said that members of the public can register for up to two workshops, but only once for each. For family workshops, the statement added that each child can register for two workshops and only once per workshop.
A lucky draw will be held for successful applicants, who will be notified via SMS next Wednesday, according to the statement.
Applicants are reminded to arrive to the workshops on time, adding that those coming 10 minutes after the workshop commences risk disqualification and replacement by on-site applicants on the waiting list. Fees will not be refunded, the statement said. For details, one can refer to “Registration Notes” on the website.
