The Judiciary Police (PJ) urged members of the public in a statement yesterday not to scalp tickets for the 70th Macau Grand Prix (MGP), noting that they have recently discovered people selling fixed-price and complimentary tickets, as well as special passes, on social media.

The Judiciary Police reminded people not to sell the fixed-price or gift tickets from the organisers as doing so constitutes an “illegal pricing” offence under Law No. 6/96/M, according to the statement, while members of the public should only buy tickets via official channels and authorised retailers.

Those suspecting they have come across online scams or criminal activities should not hesitate to call the PJ Anti-Fraud Enquiry hotline on 8800 7777 or the crime report hotline on 993 for assistance.
