Integrated resort (IR) operator MGM said in a recent statement that it will welcome the Year of the Dragon with a two-night concert entitled “A-Lin Chinese New Year Music Show at MGM” by Taiwanese singer A-Lin (黃麗玲) on February 12-13 at the MGM Theatre at MGM COTAI.
The statement noted that the performance is slated to take place on the third and fourth day of the Chinese New Year (CNY). The venue is set to feature “dazzling visuals and sensational performances”.
The statement said that A-Lin has captivated audiences with her “powerful vocals, emotive performances, and relatable lyrics” since her debut, along with hits including “Lovelorn, Not Guilty,” “Before, After,” “Give Me a Reason to Forget,” and “Happiness, and Then”.
The statement said that the popular singles have won her a dedicated fan base and recognition at major awards. In July this year, the statement added, she was honoured with the “Best Mandarin Female Singer” title at the 34th Golden Melody Awards. She has also gained a following through her performances on popular musical reality shows.
