Galaxy Macau has flown in the “real” Santa Claus, Ron Campbell, all the way from the US and he is now waiting to meet visitors to take selfies at the integrated resort in Cotai.
Campbell is an animator, director, and producer, best known for his work on the 1960s “The Beatles” television series, as well as the animated feature film “Yellow Submarine”. He also worked on several other cartoons such as The Smurfs, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, Rugrats and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
But besides these, Campbell, who will celebrate his 77th birthday on December 26, has been playing Santa Claus for 50 years in parades, malls, commercials and films, and is now sitting in his grotto in the shopping promenade at Galaxy Macau.
