Local residents can visit the Macau Museum free of charge every day it is open from January 1, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday.
The Macau Museum, located at the bottom of Fortress Hill, near the St Paul’s Ruins, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Mondays – but not public holidays.
Until Saturday, visitors to the Macau Museum pay 15 patacas each for admission, while the admission fee for student card holders is eight patacas. Admission is free for children aged 12 or below and seniors aged at least 65.
