The Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations (commonly known as Kai Fong) yesterday called for the licensing of doormen employed by the property management sector, with the aim of improving the management service quality for residential buildings.

Cheng Son Meng, who heads the association’s Building Affairs Committee, made the remarks when delivering an annual briefing about its work assisting residents in building management issues.

The press conference, co-hosted by Cheng and Chon Chong, who heads the association’s Building Management and Resources Centre, was held at the centre in Avenida de Horta e Costa.
