According to a statement by the Public Prosecution Office (MP) last night, all three suspects who were arrested last month for drug trafficking by having marijuana delivered to Macau from overseas through a courier service, have been remanded in custody.
According to previous media reports, two of the suspects are brothers, surnamed Coutinho, who have been identified as the sons of lawmaker Jose Pereira Coutinho. The remaining suspect is reported to be a local man surnamed Wong.
Last night’s MP statement did not mention the suspects’ surnames.
