Four mainlanders felt unwell yesterday after eating at a restaurant in a Cotai hotel on Monday, according to a Fire Services Bureau (CB) statement yesterday.
According to the statement, the quartet are family members, aged between 18 and 53, comprising three women and one man.
The bureau received a report at 4:40 p.m. yesterday afternoon that four people in Rua Cidade de Santarém in Zape felt unwell after eating, the statement said, and they told firefighters that they started to have stomachaches yesterday morning after eating at a restaurant in a hotel in Cotai on Monday night.
The four were rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for treatment, the statement said, adding that the four were in stable condition yesterday evening when the statement was issued.
The Macau Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) and Health Bureau have been notified to follow up on the case.
