Hotel operator Conrad Macao said in a statement yesterday that it’s month-long Pink Inspired Campaign has raised over 27,800 patacas.

Held throughout October, the campaign, according to the statement, supported the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s breast cancer awareness campaign and the local charity Associação de Feliz Paraíso. The hotel operator is a Hong Kong Cancer Fund Gold Sponsor and this year marked its 10th year of participating the campaign, the statement noted.

The Londoner Macao & Conrad Macao Vice President of Hotel Operations Gonçalo Monteiro was quoted by the statement as saying: “Conrad Macao is honoured that our annual Pink Inspired Campaign has pro-actively raised awareness, which is so important in the fight against breast cancer. We are also grateful to our guests for their generous support of this meaningful initiative through their pink inspired purchases. Together we were able to highlight the importance of breast cancer education and care services.”

The campaign featured fundraising support options in pink-themed dining, spa treatments and limited-edition Conrad bear or duck collectibles, the statement said.

Moreover, the statement said that there were pink floral displays at both the Conrad Macao and The Londoner Hotel lobbies, as well as at The Londoner Macao’s Londoner Magical Alley. The Londoner Macao’s façade, the Elizabeth Tower, and The Parisian Macao’s Eiffel Tower were also lit up in pink at night during the campaign.
