The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) and the University of Macau (UM) are respectively slated to host their Open Days on Saturday and Sunday, with both tertiary education institutions offering a raft of on-campus events.
UTM’s Open Day will take place on the public university’s Mong-Há Campus, according to the event poster on the UTM website, adding that the event’s opening ceremony will take place at 2 p.m.
Guided tours, programme and admission booths, games, workshops, various experiences, and performances are among the activities on offer for participants. Moreover, the website added that programme discussion sessions will also be held during the event.

Meanwhile, UM’s “Connecting Macao and Hengqin - UM Open Day 2025” will take place in both Macau and Hengqin. Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event will feature over 200 activities throughout the day, according to a Friday UM statement. These include games, performances, and “A Day at UM’ campus tour and the ‘Residential College Rewarding Tour’”, along with learning more about admission and programmes.
Moreover, the Zhuhai UM Science & Technology Research Institute in Hengqin will also be open, offering admission talks, research seminars, alumni sharing sessions, guided tours, and booth games, the statement from the public university said.
UM offers over 100 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programmes in various fields, with the statement adding that the application deadlines for bachelor’s programmes (admission examination) and postgraduate programmes are January 16 and March 14 respectively.
