The Tap Siac* Craft Market is fast approaching, with members of the public now able to sign up for its creative handicraft workshops, of which there will be a total of 65, until next Tuesday, according to a statement from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) on Tuesday.
The fair is slated to take place from April 24 to 27 and again from May 1 to 4 in Praça do Tap Seac (塔石廣場).
Among the various workshops that one can join are those in ceramics, glass, miniature clay painting, leather, silver accessories, and floral art. There will also be 10 sessions for families, the statement noted.
Members of the public can register for up to two workshops, but only once per workshop, according to the statement, adding that the same applies to family workshops.
The statement said that workshop details can be found on www.craftmarket.gov.mo, while registration can be done on the Macao One Account (activity.mo.gov.mo/activity-h5/activity-list-web) by 5 p.m. next Tuesday.
Applicants will be selected via a lucky draw, with the lucky ones to be notified through SMS next Wednesday, according to the statement. The fee per workshop is 50 patacas.
The statement reminded successful applicants to arrive on time, or else they might be replaced by those who are on the waiting list, who must pay on-site. More details can be found on the “Registration Notes” on the event website.
One can call 8399 6289 or 8399 6209 for enquiries.
