The list of winners of the photo and student drawing competitions, both of which were parallel activities for last year’s 32nd Macau International Fireworks Display contest, has been unveiled, with 78 works from a total of 1,770 entries receiving prizes, according to an Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) statement on Tuesday.

The “32nd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR” was held between September and October last year.
During the period, the statement noted that MGTO received 1,019 photos and 751 drawings for both the Photo Contest and Student Drawing Contest. The statement said that there were 937 participants across the different age categories in both competitions, with winners determined after evaluation by professional judges. Merit awards were also distributed.
A prize-giving ceremony is set to take place during the 13th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo, with more details to be announced in due course, the statement said.
