Lisboeta Macau and L’Arc Macau said in a recent joint statement that their volunteer team visited “Lar de Idosos da Obra das Mães” (“Nursing Home of the Mothers’ Work”) on May 28 in celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival.
The statement said that the team organised activities such as health care knowledge discussions, warm-up exercises and games for seniors to enjoy and get closer to each other, while gifts were also presented. In addition to bringing warmth and care to seniors, the statement added that the visit aimed to “further raise public awareness and enhance attention of their welfare”.
Both companies, the statement noted, will continue to support the government through “concrete actions, promoting social inclusion and building a harmonious community, [and] remain committed to creating a warm and inclusive living community, contributing steadily to the sustainable development of Macau”.
