The five-star Four Seasons Hotel Macao said in a statement yesterday that its signature charity event “Run of Hope” will take place on Sunday, November 2, aiming to support cancer research programmes at the private Kiang Wu Hospital and ECF Orphanage.
November 2 is All Souls’ Day.
The statement said that the event is an important community programme for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The upcoming run will be organised in conjunction with The International School of Macao (TIS) and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Macao, according to the statement. HSBC Life brings it to life “through its wellness vision and brand commitment – to inspire and encourage public to adopt a positive lifestyle for a healthier way of living”.
Set to gather runners, walkers and families, the statement said that the event will feature the traditional 5.6-kilometre competitive run and 3-kilometre family walk, both starting and finishing at Four Seasons Hotel Macao in Cotai. Official wellness partner lululemon will lead warm-up sessions prior to starting, the statement added.
The statement highlighted that this year’s event features a poster designed by TIS students that “beautifully captures the event’s message of hope and resilience”.
