Local man in coma after beating by 4 Vietnamese: police

A local 21-year-old man was allegedly beaten into a coma by four Vietnamese men, one of who is the husband of his Vietnamese female colleague whom he was accompanying home early Thursday morning, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson Yeung Sau Chan said yesterday.

Yeung announced the case during a regular press conference at the PJ headquarters.

According to Yeung, the victim was taken to the public Conde de Sao Januario Hospital Centre (CHCSJ) and treated in the intensive care unit for a cerebral haemorrhage, bruising and a fractured skull.
