Macao University of Tourism (UTM) to hold Open Day on Sunday

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) will be holding its 2026 Open Day this Sunday on its Taipa Campus on Avenida Padre Tomás Pereira (徐日昇寅公馬路). 

Kicking off with an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. on the campus’s Forward Building, the statement said that the event, which is open to members of the public, will feature booths providing programme and admission information and on-the-spot programme registration. There will also be activities such as programme discussions and talks by current students and faculty members, as well as game booths and lucky draws, the statement noted. 

Moreover, workshops on professional development such as culinary art, coffee brewing, tea art, painting experience, wellness, music and financial planning will also be held during the one-day event. 

The statement said that there will be guided tours led by student ambassadors to enable members of the public to visit teaching and training facilities such as the Heritage Documentation Lab, iRetail Lab and Yiu Tung Building. 

“Through various activities, UTM welcomes the public, especially secondary school students and their parents, to learn about the latest admission information and programme characteristics, offering a glimpse into campus life and culture”, according to the statement.
