The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) is planning to increase the ratio of female toilets to male toilets on its premises and at social service facilities run by the bureau, Lam Pui Seong, who heads the bureau’s Community Service Coordination Division, said yesterday.

Lam made the remarks while speaking to reporters yesterday on the sidelines of an event to mark the start of the bureau’s month-long “2017 Happy Family Month”.

The event, co-organised by a number of social service centres in the southern district, was held in Praça da Amizade (popularly known as Sintra Square).
