EZGO Sports Development Co., Ltd.* hosted a two-day event titled “Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf IP Run Hengqin” at Hengqin Bay Hotel this past weekend.
Winnie Cheng (程韋莉), director of EZGO, said in a speech on the sidelines of the run that last year’s event proved highly popular with families and couples. Cheng added that this year’s event had been expanded into a two-day fun run and carnival, aiming to create a unique cultural, tourism, and sports experience for Hengqin and Macau, while promoting cross-regional exchange and the development of the cultural tourism economy.
According to a statement released by the company, the fun run featured a 1.5-kilometre course offering views of the Macau seascape. The event championed a parent-child interactive concept of “zero competition, focused on togetherness”, with no rankings or timing, the statement said.
The carnival section featured a new Children’s Day-themed party, a costume contest, multiple rounds of prize draws, game booths, parent-child workshops, food and cultural-creative stalls, and a water play party, the statement noted. It added that the intellectual property (IP) characters Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf** also made appearances to interact with participants.
