The Macao Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) announced in a statement yesterday that applications are open for the “Macao Local Enterprise Sales Area” for the upcoming 31st Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (31st MIF), providing a reduced exhibition fee.
This year taking on the theme “Macao: The Global Hub of Business Convergence”, the fair will be held from October 21 to 24 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo alongside the 2026 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2026PLPEX) and the Macao Franchise Expo 2026 (2026MFE).
According to the statement, the “Macao Local Enterprise Sales Area” area will comprise four categories, namely, smart home devices, daily necessities, food and beverages, and creative cultural products.
The statement said that those eligible can apply for one standard booth at a reduced exhibition fee of 2,700 patacas (20 percent of the standard price).
The statement added that priority will be given to “M-Mark” product quality certification holders, “Made in Macao” product sellers, Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs) product agents, and exhibiting enterprises at the Macao Ideas or the Portuguese-speaking Countries Products Exhibition Centre.
Applications are open until August 5. Should applications exceed the limit, entry will be decided by random draw, according to the statement.
