The Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (Macao Union Medical Center) will be celebrating its 2nd anniversary with an open day slated to take place on September 5.
Colloquially, the hospital is known in Cantonese as “Hip Woh” (“Harmony”).
To be held from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. that day, a statement by the centre on Friday noted that the “2nd Anniversary Celebration of the Macao Union Medical Center and Public Open Day” will feature various highlights.
Among them is a visit to the International Medical Centre that features an introduction by professionals to international health services such as health management and medical aesthetics, the statement said.
The statement added that the event will feature health consultations, with specialists from 18 disciplines including dietetics, otolaryngology, obstetrics and gynaecology, rehabilitation, and rheumatology and immunology, providing individualised medical and health consultation services. On-site tickets will be available that day on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meanwhile, the statement added that there will be five lectures on topics such as nutrition, general surgery and women’s health.
The medical centre will arrange three free shuttle bus routes.
