Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On said yesterday he hoped that the government will be able to launch a new round of applications for subsidised home-ownership scheme (HOS) flats during his term which ends in December 2019.
Chui spoke to reporters at the airport before departing for a two-day working visit to Shanghai, for talks with the municipal government with the aim of further strengthening ties of co-operation between the two cities.
The government’s public housing programme comprises subsidised home ownership scheme (HOS) flats and social rental housing units.
