Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) Vice President Hon Wai said yesterday the government expected to publish in September its official guidelines on the setting-up of barrier-free facilities, mainly to assist the disabled, in the city’s buildings.
Hon made the remarks while speaking to reporters at the bureau’s Healthy Life Education Centre in Areia Preta district where he attended a children’s picture book launch.
The book, jointly published by the bureau and Sheng Kung Hui (SKH) Macau, aims to deliver an anti-drug message.
The Anglican Church is known as Sheng Kung Hui in Hong Kong and Macau.
