Li spoke to reporters after a closed-door meeting of the legislature’s Follow-up Committee for Land and Public Concession Affairs. The committee had requested the officials, including Li and Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario, to brief its members on the progress of the government’s half a dozen land reclamation projects.
Currently, the city has six land reclamation zones officially known as A, B, C, D, E1 and E2. Zone A, which is still being reclaimed, lies off the north-eastern coast of the peninsula. Zone A covers an area of 1.38 square kilometres.
