The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a Thai man on Tuesday for sexual intercourse with a drunken local woman incapable of resistance, PJ spokeswoman Yeung Sau Chan said during a special press conference yesterday.
According Yeung, the suspect faces possible arraignment on a charge of sexual abuse of a person incapable of resistance.
According to the Penal Code, the offender of sexual abuse of a person incapable of resistance faces a prison term of between one and eight years. If the case involves sexual intercourse, the prison term ranges between two and 10 years, according to the Penal Code.
