Activists of the Macau Drivers Will Win Rights Union yesterday urged the government to tackle the issue of non-local residents working illegally as drivers and reduce the number of non-local workers in the city.

The union voiced their position during a press conference at the office of lawmakers Antonio Ng Kuok Cheong and Au Kam San in Iao Hon district.

Ng and Au are seeking re-election in the September direct legislative election. However, both were conspicuous by their absence from the press conference.
