Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WKO) President Walter Ruck was in town yesterday to promote his Alpine nation’s tourism education system.

Ruck met the media on the sidelines of WKO’s cocktail reception at Sheraton in Sands Cotai Central to wrap up the delegation’s one-day trip to Macau where he met representatives from the Macau Chamber of Commerce (ACM) and fellow Austrians working in Macau.

Membership of WKO is mandatory in Vienna and the chamber currently has about 150,000 members. WKO is also the third largest education provider in Austria after the government and the Roman Catholic Church.
