Lawmaker-cum-unionist Kwan Tsui Hang, who has been a legislator for 21 years, held a press conference yesterday at her office in Rua das Lorchas, to talk about her long career in politics and her expectations of the upcoming legislative elections and the incoming legislature.
The direct and indirect legislative elections will take place on September 17. Kwan’s term as a lawmaker will end in October when the newly elected and appointed legislature starts.
Kwan, who was born in 1949, had told the media earlier this year that she was not seeking re-election.
