Transport Bureau (DSAT) Director Lam Hin San announced yesterday that six public car park management companies have been fined for violations such as a lack of staff, poor sanitation and out-of-order equipment, while 11 other cases are undergoing administrative procedures.

Lam made the remarks when briefing reporters after a closed-door meeting of the Traffic Consultative Council at the bureau.

“The companies are being fined 10,000 patacas per day until the violations are rectified,” said Lam.
