Some household junk is all Jeff Achtem needs to transform a bare stage into a galaxy, taking the young audience on a quirky fun adventure that is so out of this world.

Achtem is the writer of “Slapdash Galaxy” shadow puppet show that follows the adventure of two brothers as they travel through space. The show, presented by Australian troupe Bunk Puppets, will take place at the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) from July 28-30 as part of the centre’s children summer programme.

Achtem, also known as “Mr. Bunk”, said in a recent interview that as he grew up with no television, he would play around in his father’s workshop.
