According to the JCI President Jason Ma Ioi Seng, “Let’s LOHAS” is celebrating its first decade this year. Since 2008, the event has promoted the development of social welfare and harmony such as environmental protection as well as education against racial and disability discrimination.
The widespread use of mobile devices across all age groups and the increased amount of time spent on mobiles could have an impact on individual’s health and relationships. This has led “Let’s LOHAS 2017” to focus on mobile overuse this year, aiming to reduce the dependency on mobile devices and provide an opportunity for family and friends to engage in “real life”, according to a JCI statement yesterday.
