Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario said yesterday that the construction of a huge public housing project on the plot of the abandoned La Scala luxury housing project near the airport will be carried out in four phases.
Rosario made the remarks yesterday when replying to oral interpellations by several lawmakers during a plenary session of the legislature.
The government announced last year that it plans to build the huge public housing project providing 8,000 units on the plot, which is at the bottom of Big Taipa Hill, in Avenida Wai Long.
