A drunk driver smashed into the passenger side of a taxi and flipped over in Areia Preta district yesterday morning, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said yesterday.
The male driver was slightly injured and the taxi driver uninjured, the Fire Services Bureau said, adding that there were no passengers in the taxi at the time of the accident.
The 32-year-old driver failed to pass a breathalyser test which showed that his alcohol concentration was 1.83 grammes of alcohol per litre of blood, the Public Security Police (PSP) said yesterday.
