The deputy coordinator of the Urban Renewal Council’s first working group, Paulo Tse, said yesterday that the Financial Services Bureau (DSF) and the Legal Affairs Bureau (DSAJ) were currently working on a draft bill on avoiding double taxation on the transfer of real-estate property in the city’s urban renewal areas.

Tse, who heads the Macau Association of Building Contractors and Developers, briefed reporters after the last closed-door meeting of the Urban Renewal Council this year at the Traffic Affairs Bureau (DSAT) in Estrada de D. Maria II.

The first working group is tasked with looking into temporary housing and the benefits of urban renewal.
