SJM Chairman of the Board of Directors Ambrose So Shu Fai said yesterday that the city’s six gaming operators had “made initial contact” the government’s proposal to set up a joint venture (JV) for casino shuttle bus operations.
The proposal appeared last week when Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario told the legislature that a joint venture for casino shuttle bus operations could reduce the total number of such vehicles clogging the city’s streets.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of officiating at the 6th International Forum on Clean Energy (IFCE) at Sands Cotai Central, So said that the gaming operators had made initial contact on the matter.
