Public Prosecutor-General Ip Son Sang said yesterday that the Public Prosecution Office (MP) has launched an investigation into possible criminal offences concerning a plot at the bottom of Coloane Hill, on which a high-rise residential building project was previously planned.
The circumstances surrounding the controversial plot were revealed by the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) in a hard-hitting report earlier this week.
Ip stressed that anyone, including former officials, allegedly involved in the case will be investigated.
