Around 40 children and their families from YMCA of Macau were treated to breakfast with Thomas & The Little Big Club on Saturday at Sands Cotai Central and tried egg painting as part of the Easter community event organised for them by a group of Sands China Care Ambassadors.
“Our members really appreciate invitations like these,” said YMCA Macau Secretary General Grace Kuan. “The children and their families get to have fun and a memorable time together with an experience that might have been harder for them to attend on their own. We’re very grateful.”
Founded in August 2009, the Sands China Care Ambassador programme aims to give Sands China employees an opportunity to serve the local community by organising community activities and initiatives that work towards creating a better Macau.
Currently, more than 1,600 Sands China staff have signed up as volunteers at the Sands China Care Ambassadors that have organised over 50 community service activities last year.
