Indian eatery Gaggan in Bangkok topped this year’s list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, and consequently also bagged the best restaurant accolade in Thailand, it was announced during an awards ceremony last night at Wynn Palace in Cotai.
It’s the fourth year in a row that Gaggan Anand’s restaurant has been named Asia’s No. 1 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants organisation.
Anand was one of many top chefs from Asia who took part in collaborating and networking pop-up activities as part of the Asia 50 Best events that began at Wynn Palace on Sunday.
